So, I LOVE the Barry Allen/Flash in the new JL movie. However, I hate the stylization of his speed. When he's moving at super speed there's lightning everywhere. That seems out of place. Yes, in various iterations of the Flash he can produce lightning. But, usually it's explained as either intentionally building up and directing static, or some other-worldly speed-force thing. In the new JL movie it just looks random but dangerous. Think about if that lightning hit some important electronic equipment as they were working! The Flash would be a deficit to the team if people like Cyborg could never work with him because he's randomly throwing off lightning as he runs!
